Day 4
Breakfast- 8:00
Green Machine
My beautiful mother recently got a ninja & it has seriously changed her mornings forever! She tosses every fruit and vegi right into it and blends it up for a perfect breakfast! Here is just a short list of things for you to try in yours...
Broccoli
Kale
Frozen blackberries
Frozen rasberries
Carrots
Cucumber
Organge
Greek Yogurt
Almond milk
And top it off with a Stevia
Lunch- 2:00
California Turkey Burger
Using the jenni-0, lean turkey burger patties, grill up one patty. Top it with Swiss cheese, avocado & cucumber, wrap it in lettuce and serve with baby carrots & your favorite dressing!
Dinner-9:00
Not Paula Deans Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Early this morning I brought out my crock pot and tossed in:
2 chicken breast
2 cups Chicken broth
1/2 block of light cream cheese
2 cups chopped broccoli
2 cups chopped carrots
A whole bag of frozen spinach
Garlic
1/4 cup of Annie's dressing
& my favorite combo of spices
Let it soak up all day, stirring periodically and shred your chicken when ready. When it's almost dinner time, broil up a whole head of cauliflower until it is nice and tender. Drain & add seasoning for flavor. Blend with a hand mixer until "mashed potatoe" consistency. Serve on a plate and top with your "chicken gravy". Sooo yummy! I must admit, it doesn't look very pretty on the plate, hence the reason why there is no pictures, but it is a spectacular dish!!
