Day 7: 21 Day Challene

 Day 7: Make it or
Break it Challenge

Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight !!!  We've made it through a whole week of fabulous, strong self control! We are officially one third away from such a major accomplishment!

How are you feeling? I felt so empowered today, just feeling that sense of completing even a weeks worth of work is enough to pump me up for next week!

I am proud to announce that in additional to completing one week of kick booty workouts and eating the best foods on earth, I have shed 3.7 exhausting pounds!! I'm that much closer to my goal and I love it!

I am cutting this post just a tad short, after a long day of work, a rockstar work out, and starting up 2 summer classes, this girls gotta catch some zZz's!

Great Job, Team!!

Day 5: 21 Day Challenge

 Day 5: Make it or
Break it Challenge

Five solid days of work! Is it getting easier? Do you feel a routine building from your new habits? A daily routine will be key in working thorough our challenges.
Personally, I have been eating at the same time everyday, I've been waking up early to send out the motivational newsletter every morning, and I've been planning my days around my workout schedule. No questions asked, no options allowed! Everyday I have felt more and more satisfied with my accomplishments! I finish out each day checking off another day on my calendar!

Since I've been so active, my body is craving more food! I'm eating complete satisfying meals more often throughout the day. A protein shake was not filling enough this morning so I tried out this delightful breakfast bowl:

Quinoa Bowl
1/2c. Quiona (uncooked)
1c. Water
1c. Unsweetened Vanilla almond milk
1tbsp. Cinnamon
1tsp. Nutmeg
1tbsp. Almond Butter
1tbsp. Agave (maple) Syrup
Prepare quinoa as directed on box. Set aside. Bring almond milk to a simmer, just before boil add cooked quinoa. On low heat, mix and cook for 18min. Or until quinoa absorbs all excess milk. Add seasonings and mix-ins. {try bananas, berries, or cocoa powder}

Enjoy!

Day 2: 21 Day Challenge

 Day 2:Make it or
Break it Challenge

Boom baby! We made it through day 2, y'all! How'd we do?? Did anyone run into roadblocks or curveballs?
Holidays are always the hardest for me, food wise! They are meant to be celebrated with lots of good eats & even better drinks... But part of my challenge is understanding how to enjoy my holidays without throwing my body into a sugar coma. Which I can proudly say I successfully accomplished today! Instead of burgers, chips, dip & beer, I treated my self to BBQ grilled shrimp on a HUGE crisp salad! I still got that smoky BBQ flavor we all crave on the forth, but I modified it with my goal in mind! My biggest Challenge today was refusing the D-word (DESSERT) at Sebastian's uncles house! Strawberry short cake, another one of my faves! I quickly dodged the offer and headed straight for the juicy fruit bowl! I sucked down a whole cup of sweet pineapple and enjoyed the satisfaction of saying no to junk and keeping my goal at the front of my mind!

We were so busy all day, running around town seeing all of the family, I really had no time to graze at each gathering! This worked out well because I ended my day with almost 200cals to spare! And since I got my workout in early this morning, the only thing I have to do tonight is relax & blog! Loving life.

I hope your day was as successful as mine. Please share & subscribe to my email list (enter email @ top right coner). I will attach special downloads for new subscribers to assist you in your 21 Day Challenge!

Good night.
