Day 7: 21 Day Challene

 Day 7: Make it or
Break it Challenge

Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight !!!  We've made it through a whole week of fabulous, strong self control! We are officially one third away from such a major accomplishment!

How are you feeling? I felt so empowered today, just feeling that sense of completing even a weeks worth of work is enough to pump me up for next week!

I am proud to announce that in additional to completing one week of kick booty workouts and eating the best foods on earth, I have shed 3.7 exhausting pounds!! I'm that much closer to my goal and I love it!

I am cutting this post just a tad short, after a long day of work, a rockstar work out, and starting up 2 summer classes, this girls gotta catch some zZz's!

Great Job, Team!!

Day 6: Good News Journal

 Day 6: Make it or
Break it Challenge

We are almost 1/3 of the way through our challenge!!
Today, I caught myself asking my manfriend if he thought I would make it through this challenge. He had the best answer, "you don't have an option! You have to follow though for your blog and its something that you've wanted for so long!" Do you see why I love him...

The only thing stopping me from obtaining my goals is ME! I have all of the tools & so do you! It really comes down to the power of positivity and your will to push on.
Good News Journal
Going into the second week of the challenge, spice up your challenge a bit. At the end of each day (even if it wasn't a perfect challenge day) write two sentences that describe the best thing that happened to you that day. No matter how small or silly, if it made your day, write it down. Keep all of your entries together, and if your a feeling pulled down by a bit of stress, refer back to your "Good News Journal". It's the little positives & accomplishments that will keep us going.
Just try it, the worst thing that can happen is you have a book full of great things that have happened to you.

Day 5: 21 Day Challenge

 Day 5: Make it or
Break it Challenge

Five solid days of work! Is it getting easier? Do you feel a routine building from your new habits? A daily routine will be key in working thorough our challenges.
Personally, I have been eating at the same time everyday, I've been waking up early to send out the motivational newsletter every morning, and I've been planning my days around my workout schedule. No questions asked, no options allowed! Everyday I have felt more and more satisfied with my accomplishments! I finish out each day checking off another day on my calendar!

Since I've been so active, my body is craving more food! I'm eating complete satisfying meals more often throughout the day. A protein shake was not filling enough this morning so I tried out this delightful breakfast bowl:

Quinoa Bowl
1/2c. Quiona (uncooked)
1c. Water
1c. Unsweetened Vanilla almond milk
1tbsp. Cinnamon
1tsp. Nutmeg
1tbsp. Almond Butter
1tbsp. Agave (maple) Syrup
Prepare quinoa as directed on box. Set aside. Bring almond milk to a simmer, just before boil add cooked quinoa. On low heat, mix and cook for 18min. Or until quinoa absorbs all excess milk. Add seasonings and mix-ins. {try bananas, berries, or cocoa powder}

Enjoy!
